as well as意思相當於and，但它後面帶出的名詞，在句子中只是附帶說明，和主詞連用時，不屬於主詞的一部分，因此動詞則須配合第一個主詞而定。以本句為例，配合our catalog，動詞用單數is。
2.You may send us the order form by fax or by post.
中文譯為「用」，很容易聯想到with，但表達「靠、利用、透過、以…方式」時，常用的介系詞是by。
3.We regret to tell you that we havent received the items we ordered from your company, which should have arrived five days ago.
表達與預期相反的情況，句型是should+現在完成式。商品應到卻未到，所以用should have arrived。
4.In reply to your letter dated December 26, we will accept the return of the item.
in reply是慣用片語，意指「作為答覆」，後面接to，再接letter、inquiry、request等名詞。
5.You have 14 days left from the date of this email to pay off the outstanding balance in full.
remaining和left都可作「剩餘」解，但這裡應該放副詞，所以不能用形容詞remaining。
